API USB B2K  for Linux and other OSes

The aim of this project is to provide a linux API for Softphone in order to drive the USB-B2k      in order to use it  with gnomemeeting , kphone or linphone, kphone or Kiax Kiax and use its functions such as ringing the POTS phone , use the phone to dial the number ...etc .....

This USB box is recognized as a USB sound card but then need to be activated via a USB command in order to switch the phone on the USB line.

I personnally discovered this box when the VOIP Wengo service started in france and give this box ( 30 E )  to connect your normal phone to the internet , wengo is releasing its SIP software as Opensource .

For the moment you can only donload the reference API document given by yealink but some code with the USB commands will follow. You can get as well the original Win32 API given by yealink, it is use for skype and Wengo, so the softphone can make the phone ring and more.
